Hello everyone! This time it?s not going to be another post with news or another DIY project. We are organizers of charity collection for children of oncological ward in hospital in Berlin. This is the place, which for one of our client?s son, recently became second home. This is story of Ania ? one of us! Help us put big smiles on little children faces!
Ill children deserve more colors and happiness in their little lives!
You can recognize Ania from our Facebook page: [tu wstawić link], where Ania is really active. She is one of us and now she needs our support! Please, read Ania?s story and what she has to say:
?Hello! My name is Ania. I am one of you, a client of Sklep Antex and a seamstress. At first I want to tell you all my story which is tightly connected with this charity event:
I am a happy mother of three amazing children. I have 2 sons and a daughter. Along with my husband and children we live in Berlin. Our life has been very happy so far. Me and my husband worked and did what we are passionate about. In my case it is sewing. Our children grew and it was them who inspired me create various new things on the sewing machine. However our life was broken down by the illness of our oldest son, Patryk. The diagnosis that we heard just after Easter changed everything.
Despite the difficult situation, the family does not lose hope and has a lot of positive energy.
?And then everything went fast??
?Acute lymphoblastic leukemia ? our world has collapsed. Crying, grief, anger, helplessness. And then everything went fast? On the same day me and my son were sent to the department of pediatric oncology. The fear thet accompanied me when I went there still makes me shiver. Going there I tried to see nothing and talk to no one. The next day was not easier.?
Our brave initiator of charity event ? Patryk! Despite the serious illness, he decided to help his companions, other sick children who are with him in the oncological ward.
?However, I had to be there. For my son. And I had to be strong. Days passed. And every day in the hospital I got to know the stories of other children who were there. Little children, hairless, walking around the ward with all the drip equipment, they did not resemble kids from my children school or kindergarten. The smile that appeared on their faces squeezed my heart. My son was the oldest at the moment at the ward. He is 11 year old. He is aware of this illness and the seriousness of the state the he?s in. After all, all these children are not indifferent to him. ?
?One day looking at them, he said something that prompted me to write to Sklep Antex grupy asking for help.?
LET?S PUT A SMILE ON CHILDREN FACES
?Together we can do more. Let?s put a smile on little children faces by donating your handworks, me and my brave son Patryk will be so greatful!?
HOW TO JOIN OUR ACTION?
? All you have to do is donate chosen handwork (hats, blankets, pillows, staft animals) to us and we will send a specially prepared package to Germany! Ania will make a photorelation of handing gifts to the children!
? The first package we received today! It was sent by Mrs. Agnieszka Białasik, who for this noble purpose passed as many as 10 cute pillows!
Pillows are made of patterned cotton and soft fill and they are really wonderful! We wholeheartedly encourage you to take part in this beautiful initiative, because we know how much fun these gift can bring to children!

Sewing in not only a grateful passion, Ms. Renata is also a seamstress by profession, her pillows and accessories for children are very popular. She decided to donate a part of her range that she sells on a daily basis. To support Patryk?s charity campaign!
